Rob Livingstone - Academy Director


Rob Livingstone has been a part of the coaching staff at Williams College as the Director of Strength and Conditioning for 7 years. Rob has 19 years of strength and conditioning experience, along with 4 years of sports management experience. Over his coaching career, Rob has trained numerous Olympic and professional athletes. He has also trained five, 1st round MLB draft picks and two, 1st round NBA draft picks. Coach Livingstone has a diverse training background. In addition to his work with collegiate and professional athletes, he has trained elementary, middle and high school student-athletes as well as adults. Coach Livingstone has been a strength and conditioning coach for Jacksonville State University, Philadelphia Phillies Organization, Jacksonville University, University of Georgia and Norcross High School. He has also managed a Velocity Sports Performance Training facility outside of Atlanta and currently owns The Cages at the Mill in North Adams, MA.  Coach Livingstone graduated from Jacksonville State University with an Undergraduate degree in Exercise Science with a minor in Nutrition, and a Master’s degree in Physical Education.  He also played collegiate baseball at Southern Union State Community College and Jacksonville State University.  Rob is currently certified through the National Strength and Conditioning Association, Collegiate Strength and Conditioning Coaches Association and USA Weightlifting

Christi Kelsey - Performance Coach


Christi Kelsey enters her 8th year at Williams College as the Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach.  Coach Kelsey has a unique training background and skill set. In addition to her work with collegiate athletes and LSA, she also offers personal training to the general population. In 2009, Christi Kelsey was hired to take over the reins of the Williams College volleyball program. In her inaugural season, Kelsey helped guide the Ephs to the 2009 NESCAC Championship and a Sweet 16 appearance in the NCAA tournament. Coach Kelsey now is heading into her fifth season as head volleyball coach. Prior to being hired as head coach at Williams, Kelsey served as the first assistant for Harvard University. While with the Crimson, Kelsey provided on-court coaching, team development, and served as Harvard’s recruiting coordinator. A 2000 graduate of Purdue University, Christi was a four-year participant for the Boilermakers in volleyball. Co-captaining the team in 1999 and earning First Team All-Academic Big Ten honors twice during her career.

Tyler is a former Livingstone Speed Academy intern who recently returned to the area after 5 years of traveling and working with multiple elite level athletic programs. He has a Bachelors Degree in Exercise Science from Keene State College in New Hampshire, and is currently pursuing a Masters degree in Sport Coaching from the University of Denver. Tyler spent a year at the University of Florida working as a volunteer Strength and Conditioning Coach with sports such as football, track and field, swimming, lacrosse,baseball and soccer. From there he went on to help the United States Speedskating team within their High Performance Department where he worked as a Strength and Conditioning Coach for 4 years. Upon returning from the 2018 winter Olympics he decided to move home to the Berkshires in hopes of sharing what he has learned with this amazing community. Tyler is currently working as the Athletic Director and Sports Teacher at Pine Cobble School in Williamstown, MA . He holds certifications with the National Strength and Conditioning Association, USA weightlifting, CPR/AED with the American Heart Association and is also a certified yoga teacher through Yoga Alliance. Tyler is very excited to be working with LSA once again.
